Miguel Banaag, also known as Gigo, is an Account Manager at VML Manila. Before joining VML, he worked as an Account Manager at Gigil Manila and Publicis JimenezBasic.
He's currently collaborating with the best forward-thinking and creative-leading advertising minds in the country. In previous years, he actively participated in several internship programs to learn more about the advertising agency's operations and to better himself.
Gigo has worked with a variety of brands over the years, but his notable ones include McDonald's (App), Jollibee, Greenwich, Grab, Move It, Smirnoff Mule, Nestlé, and Chatime.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Advertising Management from De La Salle University (DLSU) in September 2022 along with a Loyalty Award and a Student Leadership Award.
During his university stay, he had the privilege of serving the Lasallian community through active leadership and discipline formation with DLSU's Student Discipline Formation Office (SDFO) under its volunteer organization, the SDFO Paragons. He pushed for reform within the discipline unit to deliver higher-quality services to all Lasallian students as their former President. He not only had a big impact in a specific section at DLSU, but he also inspired and created more forward-thinking and visionary student leaders.
Now that he is starting his career by working with big agencies and big brands, he wants to learn everything he can about the advertising industry and what it means to build meaningful work.
